Falling

Eyes wide shut, 

Sleep deprivation, 

Sleep I must. 

Hollow heart, 

Tired mind, 

Sleepy eyes. 

Must keep going, 

No time for rest, 

Onwards I trudge. 

Falling drastically, 

Please, why won’t somebody help me? 

Nobody there, 

Just white noise, 

All around, 

Blackness surrounds us, 

Dark clouds keep pounding.
